Democrat Rushes To Defense Of The Terrorists

Former Clinton aid John Podesta couldn't wait to defend the terrorists in this statement about the release of "hostage" Jill Carroll.

It is totally inappropriate to assume that her description of how she was treated is motivated by anything other than a desire to tell the truth.

According to Mr. Podesta it's "inappropriate" to believe that Ms. Carroll was actually treated a little worse than she claimed. Let's assume for a moment that she's not lying and really was a victim. On the video she was threatened with being beheaded. Is that being treated well? Has Mr. Podesta ever seen the video? Once again a democrat can't wait to be on the side of those who slaughtered 3,000 Americans on 9-11. When are we going to wake up and realize the democrats are just as much an enemy of the United States as al Qaeda?

American "journalist" Jill Carroll was released by her kidnappers in Iraq yesterday. Funny how she heaps praise on her "captors."

Jill Carroll, who works for the Boston-based Christian Science Monitor, was abducted by unknown gunmen in west Baghdad on 7 January.

She told Iraqi television she had been treated well and was looking forward to being reunited with her family.

'Safe place'

However, she stressed that her captors treated her "very well".

"They never hit me. I was kept in a safe place with nice furniture, plenty of food. I was allowed to take showers," she said

Ms Carroll was kidnapped in Baghdad's western Adil district while going to interview the senior Sunni Arab politician Adnan al-Dulaimi. Her interpreter was killed.

Interesting that she mentioned how "nice" the furniture was but not a word about the murder of her interpreter. Excuse me if I don't believe that Ms. Carroll was ever kidnapped. My money is on Ms. Carroll working hand in hand with the terrorists and she in effect "kidnapped" herself. All this for a little good publicity on how well the terrorists treat their "hostages."

New York Times Flat Out Lies

In a rare glimpse into the inner workings of the secretive court, known as the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, several former judges who served on the panel also voiced skepticism at a Senate hearing about the president's constitutional authority to order wiretapping on Americans without a court order. They also suggested that the program could imperil criminal prosecutions that grew out of the wiretaps

Here is the full transcript of the hearings. You'll see that the judges said no such thing. In fact they said the opposite, that the President had full authority to wiretap Americans without a court order to collect foreign intelligence.

Following Senator Dubin's questions, Senator Hatch then pursued a series of hypothetical questions that he posed to Judge Kornblum regarding the admissibility of evidence obtained indirectly from the NSA surveillance program.

Judge Kornblum: To be admissible, the evidence would have had to have been lawfully seized or lawfully obtained and the standard that the district judge would use is that, depending upon where this is, is the law in his circuit. In most of the circuits, the law is clear that the President has the authority to do warrantless surveillance if it is to collect foreign intelligence and it is targeting foreign powers or agents. If the facts support that, then the district judge could make that finding and admit the evidence, just as they did in Truong-Humphrey.

It's truly amazing the depths that the democrats will go to support the terrorists and bring down this country.

According to democrat "journalist" Molly Ivins only "reporters" are allowed to have opinions.

Bloggers are not news-gatherers, but opinion-mongers. I have long argued that no one should be allowed to write opinion without spending years as a reporter -- nothing like interviewing all four eyewitnesses to an automobile accident and then trying to write an accurate account of what happened. Or, as author-journalist Curtis Wilkie puts it, "Unless you can cover a five-car pile-up on Route 128, you shouldn't be allowed to cover a presidential campaign."

According to Ms Ivins one has to be able to cover an accident before having an opinion. Let's put aside the absurdity of this for a moment. Tell me, how freakin difficult would it be to ask 4 people what happened and then write it down? This shows the intellectual vacancy of those on the left.

Associated Press Working For The Terrorists?

How long have I been insinuating that the democrat run press is working for al Qaeda? Here is a piece of enemy propaganda from the AP. I can't sum it up any better than biglizard so I'll just link to his site and copy this part of his analysis.

What is wrong with this picture? Take a second look at the second paragraph:

The Associated Press felt no qualms about allowing various Iraqis of dubious provenance to accuse American soldiers of brutally murdering 22 bystanders and 18 innocent men (a later graf makes it clear that is what Sadr's supporters allege we did); and AP didn't put scare quotes around those two descriptors. But they felt an overpowering urge to put little, curly doubt-indicators around the American military's description of those same dead guys as "insurgents."

Read the whole thing and then tell me that the democrat press isn't on the side of the terrorists.

How Democrats Treat Our Heroes

Sometimes democrats can't help but act out. This case is especially despicable.

The heartbroken family of a fallen Bay State soldier was devastated yesterday to find his memorial defaced by callous anti-war vandals who scrawled “Oil” and “Christian Crusade” on a sign commemorating his sacrifice.

“I was enraged,” said Lou Petithory, whose son Daniel, 32, was killed in Afghanistan Dec. 5, 2001. “My main concern is that my son’s memory was attacked.”

But they "support the troops" right?

Authorities have released the "suicide" note left by the Muslim graduate of the University of North Carolina that tried to run over several students with his car a couple of weeks ago. It's a bit long but well worth the read.

Due to the killing of believing men and women under the direction of the United States government, I have decided to take advantage of my presence on United States soil on Friday, March 3, 2006 to take the lives of as many Americans and American sympathizers as I can in order to punish the United States for their immoral actions around the world.

In the Qur’an, Allah states that the believing men and women have permission to murder anyone responsible for the killing of other believing men and women. I know that the Qur’an is a legitimate and authoritative holy scripture since it is completely validated by modern science and also mathematically encoded with the number 19 beyond human ability. After extensive contemplation and reflection, I have made the decision to exercise the right of violent retaliation that Allah has given me to the fullest extent to which I am capable at present.

I have chosen the particular location on the University campus as my target since I know there is a high likelihood that I will kill several people before being killed myself or jailed and sent to prison if Allah wills. Allah’s commandments are never to be questioned and all of Allah’s commandments must be obeyed. Those who violate Allah’s commandments and purposefully follow human fabrication and falsehood as their religion will burn in fire for eternity in accordance with Allah’s will.

Stunning Hypocrisy!

Republicans have come forth with an immigration plan. I have no problem with the democrats crying and whining like little 4 year old girls about it but this is just too much to stomach. Hillary Clinton must believe that the populace is incredibly stupid.

I bet Jesus also agrees with Ms. Clinton that all navity scenes should be banned from public places. I wonder if the Hildabeast thinks Jesus agrees with her that the Boy Scouts should be dissolved because they require their membership to believe in a higher being? Not to mention that I'm positive Jesus agrees that all prayers in school (even a moment of silence) must be banned.

Actor Richard Belzer was on Bill Mahr's HBO show Real Time. Along side the democrat was a woman who's stepson was fighting in Iraq. Here are a few snippets of the conversation. The first comment from Belzer is in relation to our soldiers.

“That's bullshit: ask them! They're not, they don't read twenty newspapers a day. They're under the threat of death every minute. They're not the best people to ask about the war because they're gonna die any second.”

Wow, so according to Belzer soldiers know nothing about war. I guess baseball players know nothing about baseball, engineers know nothing about engineering, and dentists know absolutely nothing about teeth.

I used to have a bit of a soft spot for Mayor Daley of Chicago. He appeared to be an old school democrat in the mold of a Scoop Jackson. Tough on national security and crime while "progressive" on social issues. But now it looks as if the good Mayor has completely lost his mind like most democrats. Here is his reaction to two young girls who were gunned down recently in Chicago.

Daley also demanded that the state's 1.5 million law-abiding firearm owners travel to Chicago to appear before him and explain why their firearms should not be banned and confiscated.

Not only does the Mayor want to grab all the guns from law abiding citizens in Chicago but now he wants to take all of the states gun owners weapons away. I wonder if he understands that even if all 1.5 million REGISTERED gun owners turned in their weapons that those 2 young victims would still be dead? Instead of blaming the weekend hunters for these homocides why doesn't he clean up his own damn city? Can someone tell me why democrats demand that only criminals have guns?

New York Times Working For Al Qaeda?

It sure looks like it. Here is some more enemy propaganda, the difference is the Times completely made up this story. You know it's bad when another far left "news" outlet catches you in a lie.

The online magazine Salon is challenging the identity of a man profiled by The New York Times in a front-page article on Saturday who says he is the iconic hooded figure in a published photograph who was abused by Americans at Abu Ghraib prison in 2003 and 2004.

Salon bases its challenge on an examination of a set of 280 Abu Ghraib photographs it has been studying for several weeks and an interview with an official of the Army's Criminal Investigation Command, known as the C.I.D., who says the man identified by The Times is not the detainee in the photograph.

On Monday, Chris Grey, chief spokesman for the investigations unit, asked about the challenge, confirmed to The Times in an e-mail message: "We have had several detainees claim they were the person depicted in the photograph in question. Our investigation indicates that the person you have is not the detainee who was depicted in the photograph released in connection with the Abu Ghraib investigation.

How long is it going to take the public to figure out that the democrat run media is not only rooting for the perpetrators of 9-11 but most likely have an operational relationship with them as well? The irony is that an American "peace activist" was tortured and murdered but that story only made it to page 8 of the same issue. And where did this "correction" or more accurately the fact the Times was caught lying in an attempt to smear our brave men and women in uniform appear? Why, on page 17 of course.

Who's Side Are They On

Once again the democrat run media not only lies but outright propagandizes for the perpetrators of 9-11. One of the few independent journalists Jack Kelly has it exactly right. Comparing what the Washington Post says and the facts on the ground are not only different they are worlds apart.

The Washington Post reported on Feb. 25 that 120 Sunni mosques had been attacked in retaliation for the destruction of the Golden Mosque, holy to the Shiites. In a March 3 news conference, Gen. George Casey, commander of U.S. forces in Iraq, said:

"We can confirm attacks on about 30 mosques around the country, with less than 10 of those mosques moderately damaged, and only two or three severely damaged. We visited eight mosques (in Baghdad) that were reportedly damaged. We found one broken window in those eight mosques."

How could the media get it so wrong? Who are the only ones who want a civil war in Iraq? Who benefits when the Washington Post lies? Al Qaeda does, that's who. What drives these democrats to help those who slaughtered 3000 innocent Americans on 9-11? Are they ideological soulmates? Is it an incurable case of Bush Derangement Syndrome? Is it an irrational hatred of the United States?

Jack Kelly sums it up well:

There is sectarian violence in Iraq -- as there is in India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Northern Ireland -- but no civil war....

There is no civil war in Iraq, but al-Qaida would dearly love to provoke one. Knowledge of that fact should make journalists more careful about separating rumor from fact. But many apparently have chosen instead to act as the propaganda arm of our enemies.

Hollywood Supports Terrorists

I knew eventually that the democrats in Hollywood would make a pro terrorist movie.

The directors of the The Matrix make a movie where the hero is a faceless terrorist trying to blow up London. Yes, you read that right

Is it possible for a major Hollywood studio to make a $50 million movie in which the hero is a terrorist? A terrorist who appears wearing the dynamite waistcoat of a suicide bomber, and who utters the line--from beneath a full-face wooden mask that he never takes off--"Blowing up a building can change the world"? A movie written and produced by the Wachowski brothers, the cyberauteurs who created The Matrix? Starring Natalie Portman, shaved as bald as Demi Moore in G.I. Jane?

These are not rhetorical questions. V for Vendetta, set for release March 17, is that movie, and it is the most bizarre Hollywood production you will see (or refuse to see) this year. It's the kind of film that makes you ask questions like, Who thought this was a good idea?

Well, at least the Hollywood democrats aren't hiding their true feelings. Now if only the rest of the democrats would follow suit and admit their vicious hatred of the United States and their wish that the country as we know it be destroyed.

Another Bogus Poll

You have to wonder why the democrat run media continues to lie with regards to their "polling?" The newest bogus poll is by AP/Ipsos. With glee they report that President Bush's approval rating is at an all time low.

The poll suggests that most Americans wonder whether Bush is up to the job. The survey, conducted Monday through Wednesday of 1,000 people, found that just 37 percent approve of his overall performance. That is the lowest of his presidency.

Sounds pretty bad huh? I guess the democrats over at AP/Ipsos hope that you'll just take their word for it. I'm not sure if they think you're stupid or if they don't care and will print any kind of propaganda to help the democrat party. Let's take a look at WHO was surveyed.

As you can see the most striking statistic is that of those surveyed 51% consider themselves democrats while only 39% consider themselves Republicans. (when "leaners" are tabulated) As we all know from the 2004 presidential election 37% of voters claim to be democrats and 37% claim to be Republicans. Well then, it's not so hard to figure out how they came up with that 37% approval rating now is it?

You would think that such an obviously biased poll would be shunned by all clear thinking individuals but since it's bad news for Republicans it's being reported by abc,cbs,nbc,cnn,msnbc,cnbc,npr, etc.................. Sooner or later the major media outlets will have to apply to be democrat 527's and record their air time as campaign contributions to the democrat party.

I think there are very intelligent, deep-thinking conservatives, but I also think it is easier for a dumb, incurious, narrowminded person to be a conservative than to be a liberal.

This is the height of intellectual laziness by Mr. Weingarten. What does it take to be a liberal? There is only one prerequistite, to blame America. Who's to blame for 9-11? America. Who's to blame for poverty in the third world? America. Who's to blame for high gas prices? America. Who's fault is it that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons? America. Gene, tell me how "dumb, incurious, and narrowminded" is it to blame America for everything?

You have to wonder if these far left wing pointy headed "intellectuals" actually believe the tripe that comes out of their mouths.

Thomas Friedman who is your average everyday democrat "journalist" from the New York Times had this to say about the price of oil.

"Well, of course if you're talking about the oil weapon, you know, from my own personal perspective, Charlie, they cut off oil and oil went to $100 a barrel that would make my day. Because the sooner we go to $100 a barrel, the sooner we're going to have everyone in America driving a plug-in hybrid car fueled by corn and ethanol. And I think that would be a great thing and that would ultimately free us from having to worry about these people."

Let me get this straight Mr Friedman, It would "make your day" if oil went to $100 a barrel? A rough translation would be about $4.25 for a gallon of gas if oil were to go that high. Who will that hurt the most? Does Tom think that Bill Gates or George Soros will be hurt by that price? Hell, that won't affect me much. It's the poor who will be hurt if that were to happen. Does Mr. Friedman really get his jollies from watching the poor struggle?

Remember this when you hear some democrat blather on about alternative energy. Ask them what it is about watching the poor struggle that turns them on so much?

The desertion rate was much higher during the Vietnam era. The Army saw a high of 33,094 deserters in 1971--3.4% of the Army force. But there was a draft and the active-duty force was 2.7 million.

Desertions in 2005 represent 0.24% of the 1.4 million U.S. forces.

Defending Bennish

Not that this is much of a surprise but democrats and the media are defending the anti American rantings of moonbat Jay Bennish. Here is a taste of this high school "teachers" anti Americanism.

Intentionally trying to make that system collapse. And we're willing to expend however many thousands of people died because we just want to get rid of Castro. And the sad reality is that there are some policy planners who are willing to let people die in order to achieve their objectives.

According to NBC and Matt Lauer who's fault is it that Mr. Bennish is a stark raving mad lunatic? Why it's the high school student who taped him of course.

At a time when critical thought and dissent are under attack and a chilling atmosphere looms over academia, the suspension and possible firing of Jay Bennish demands nation-wide, public opposition. At a time when someone like University of Colorado Ethnic Studies Professor Ward Churchill can be systematically attacked - in the media and by people within the government - and nearly forced to resign for political statements he has made, a precedent allowing for the same or worse for a public high school teacher must not be allowed!

A large portion of the democrat party has become so unhinged that they are actually letting their vicious hatred of the United States overcome their common sense.
