After reading this headline I thought to myself the democrats and the media are finally catching on to the despicable regime in Cuba

So, democrats finally have figured out the Cuba isn't the workers paradise they have thought it is for all these decades. But guess whos fault it is? You got it, the United States of course. You just can't make this stuff up.
GENEVA (Reuters) - A special U.N. rights envoy expressed alarm on Tuesday at allegations of ill treatment in Cuban jails, but said that a U.S. economic embargo was hampering attempts to improve Cuba's respect for political rights.
"The extreme tension between Cuba and the United States has created a climate which is far from conducive to the development of freedom of expression and freedom of assembly," French magistrate Christine Chanet said.
Someone has to explain to me how the American embargo has anything to do with the respect of political rights in Cuba? The America hating psychosis of democrats has hit a new level in this article.

The dissatisfied people of America should seriously consider a new place to call home. If nothing goes right for them, they are free to remove themselves from this country and good riddance.
