Will The New York Times Ever Stop Lying?

Remember this from the New York Times one week ago?

BAGHDAD, Iraq, March 26 — The bodies of 30 beheaded men were found on a main highway near Baquba this evening, providing more evidence that the death squads in Iraq are becoming out of control.

Well, turns out this was just another made up lie by the democrat run newspaper.

WASHINGTON, April 3 (UPI) -- A top U.S. general in Iraq said reports that 30 headless bodies were found north of Baghdad were false.

"We went to multiple sites to look for the 32 headless bodies that was reported to our headquarters, and we did not find anything; nor did any of the local citizens that were in these areas could verify that anybody had ever been in there. So I look at that report as completely false right now," said Maj. Gen. James Thurman, the commanding general of the 4th Infantry Division.

Why is the public letting the New York Times get away with this? Whatever happened to reporting the facts? What happened to "objective" journalism? How this paper can continue to undermine the United States and the war on terror is beyond me.
