What's Missing?

Not only are democrats the party of treason see if you can find anything on the democrats agenda about the war on terror?

Democratic leaders, increasingly confident they will seize control of the House in November, are laying plans for a legislative blitz during their first week in power that would raise the minimum wage, roll back parts of the Republican prescription drug law, implement homeland security measures and reinstate lapsed budget deficit controls.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) said in an interview last week that a Democratic House would launch a series of investigations of the Bush administration, beginning with the White House's first-term energy task force and probably including the use of intelligence in the run-up to the invasion of Iraq. Pelosi denied Republican allegations that a Democratic House would move quickly to impeach President Bush. But, she said of the planned investigations, "You never know where it leads to." a

The greatest threat to this nation is terrorism and by extension the war on terror. What do democrats intend to do about the war? Apparently impeaching Bush and giving seniors less medicine is their solution. Are we to assume they would just flat out surrender to the terrorists? It's almost too painful to think about how many Americans will die from terrorist attacks if the democrats regain power. Fortunately, in my opinion, there aren't enough competitive seats up this year for power to switch to democrats. I hope that 9-11 is still fresh enough in voters minds to remember what 8 years of failed Clinton policies did to this great country.

Very interesting. Where does Polosi think raising minimum wage will take this nation? DUMB MOVE.
Shore up homeland security sounds good = no proposal as to how it will be done. We all know we can't afford more federal deficit - how will it be remedied?
Investigate Cheney's secret deals with eneregiy policy? Why not investiage Hillary's secret closed-door policies on health care?
No need to "investigate" the Iraq war= time to look for an end to the Iraq war. Too much time "investigating" - not enough time taking care of the country's many NEEDS. Jane
