Global Warming....Or Is It Global Cooling?

I guess this is why democrats are now calling global warming "climate change." That way they can always be right.

Average global temperatures in 2008 are forecast to be lower than in previous years, thanks to the cooling effect of the ocean current in the Pacific, U.N. meteorologists say.

The World Meteorological Organisation's secretary-general, Michel Jarraud, said it was likely that La Nina, an abnormal cooling of sea surface temperatures in the Pacific Ocean, would continue into the summer.

However, La Nina is not likely to persist for a period greater than two or more years.

Although it is reportedly the strongest event we've had this year, scientists are saying that when looking at climate change, it is important to look at trends in temperature over a period of time as opposed to changes in temperature during a particular year.

Well, since we know that temperatures have been decreasing since 1998 I guess that proves that the world is getting cooler not warmer right? I wonder if these reactionary leftists will ever understand that the world cools and warms all on it's own and there isn't anything we can do about it?

After reading all of this article, I'm still convinced that the weather is in the control of God, not man. We will do nothing in this world to change our temps no matter how much we chatter about it, we are only wasting out valuable time which could be used constructively. Get real, we can never change the weather.

It's cool in the northern part of this country, no global warming around here, not for a long time.

Weather myths are just that, myths. The weather has continually changed and will continue to change. Who do we think we are to play God?

It cools, then it warms, always has in the past and probably always will.
