We all have unique memories of the exact time the planes hit. While preparing for work I had the tv on and heard the first announcement that the planes had hit the twin towers. It was difficult to leave the tv but listened to the car radio while traveling to work. It is a nightmare to remember the feelings of having a bomb hit our largest city. We saw first hand that day the bravery of our fire fighters, policemen, paramedics, all the wonderful people who respond when needed. We may not think of this group of people often but they are our true heroes.
God bless all those who lost their lives on this tragic day. They are true heroes. I have a son who is a medic/fireman and it's so easy to relate to all of this. I pray for the safety of our heroes every day. I will never forget where I was, what I was doing, how my heart came up in my throat and all the family phone calls I made. My heart goes out to the families of the ones lost on 9/11. God bless them all.
