More Democrat Hatred Of Our Military

Check out these stunning statistics involving desertion in our armed forces.

The Army, Navy and Air Force reported 7,978 desertions in 2001, compared with 3,456 in 2005.

The Marine Corps showed 1,603 Marines in desertion status in 2001. That had declined by 148 in 2005.

The desertion rate was much higher during the Vietnam era. The Army saw a high of 33,094 deserters in 1971--3.4% of the Army force. But there was a draft and the active-duty force was 2.7 million.

Desertions in 2005 represent 0.24% of the 1.4 million U.S. forces.

What kind of headline would you expect from this fantastic news? Something like "Desertions Plummets Under Bush?" Or "Desertions Low Ever Since 9-11?" Oh no, we can't have that, this is the democrat run USA Today after all. Take a gander at the headline of the article that includes these statistics.

8,000 desert during Iraq war

Unbelieveable isn't it? Somehow democrats are able to hammer our military while providing positive information.

Hey, but they "support the troops" don't they?

Anyone who detests the military is lower than whale s*i* in the bottom of the deepest sea. Our military is to be respected at all times. Without them we would not be a free country. Anyone who dares disrespect the military should be sentenced to the front lines of every war we have, and that's letting them off easy. BLAKE

Do you really expect the Anti-Bush media to put this in a positive light? That's like putting a huge hambone in front of Imus and expecting him not to chew it. It will never happen... ever... never...ever.
