Gas Prices
With the media in hysterics about the rise of gas prices I was doing some figuring in my head. I heard more than one democrat "reporter" breathlessly claim that in one month prices have increased 30 cents a gallon and then went on to claim that this is going to destroy the middle class.
Well, my truck has a 20 gallon tank. I usually get 10 days of driving on a full tank. Therefore it costs me a whopping 60 cents a day more now than it did last month to drive those 10 days. Oh yeah, half the price of a can of Pepsi a day is really going to destroy the middle class. Even if it goes up another 20 cents a gallon from here the cost will still only be ONE WHOLE DOLLAR a day more than it did last month.
Don't you just love the hysterics from the democrat run media?

While a few cents increase per gallon each week may not seem like much, month after month it takes its toll on the very young drivers and the elderly. One dollar per day ($30.00) per month can loom quite large to some drivers. Those on a "fixed" budget with no way to adjust their income will truly feel the crunch. Lee
I find it interesting that the media jumps on this when the gas prices go up...yet no mention of it when gas prices were actually under $2 a gallon a few months ago.
