How Original
Why is it that the only way democrat politicians know how to protest something is by disparaging the country?
PHOENIX -- A Mesa City Council member refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance before a meeting to protest American involvement in what he calls an Iraqi civil war.
"If you're not willing to stand up for what you believe, you don't belong in politics," Tom Rawles said.
Isn't there some other way for democrats to protest something? Or is it just so easy for them to hate their country? Can you imagine a Republican refusing to say the pledge because a democrat raised taxes?

Of all the other stupid actions he may have taken, he chose to show his ignorance in public at a town hall meeting which is the wrong place to protest. If he is so dissatisfied that he feels a need to protest he should at least make a sign and walk up and down main street with it in his home town so all the locals can see what they put in office.
Just goes to show, once again, how patriotic the democrat party feels. I cannot imagine any republican from any part of the United States refusing to say the pledge because of something a not too smart democrat said.
Freedom of speech, babes.
Get used to it.
Oh, hell, some people will stoop to protest anything even if it's something good.
Apparently, you're good at stooping in general...
