Iowa Democrats

The democrats in the Iowa legislature decided to have a Muslim Imam say a prayer at the beginning of session. What does the Imam pray for?

The Iowa Legislature started just over a week ago and some people were upset before the first issue was every addressed.
When the session began, a Muslim Imam began the prayer in the Iowa Legislature. This is where the controversy begins.
The prayer asked of "Victory over those who disbelieve," and "Protection from the great Satan" among other things.

Someone needs to ask the democrats if they agree with their invited guest. Do they want the terrorists to win in the global war on terror? On second thought I already know the answer to that.

I know the answer to that too. They are the true party of terror.
There's never a sign of patriotism.

Muslim Imam prayed for "Victory
over those who disbelieve." I have no idea what the Muslim religion believes. A Christian prayer may be help and understanding for those who do not believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God." "Protection from the great Satan." Again, I have no idea what the Muslim is referring to. In a Christian prayer we ask for faith and protection against evil. I've never read any indepth articles on the Muslim faith. Perhaps one of the commentators on this blog can explain these words.
