Global Tax?

Barack Obama wants to institute a global tax to alleviate poverty in other countries. He also wants the United Nations to decide how much you and I pay for 3rd world countries, most of which hate us anyway.

A nice-sounding bill called the "Global Poverty Act," sponsored by Democratic presidential candidate and Senator Barack Obama, is up for a Senate vote on Thursday and could result in the imposition of a global tax on the United States. The bill, which has the support of many liberal religious groups, makes levels of U.S. foreign aid spending subservient to the dictates of the United Nations.

I wouldn't want this far left wing fanatical nut job running for dog catcher.

We would do well to concentrate on the poverty and needs right here in the United States of America, not some foreign country that would like to see us dead. Of course, the liberals would rather give it all away to other countries. That's their warped mind-set.

Global tax???? I think not. Today is the time for all good citizens to call their representatives in congress to let them know how we feel about this hair brain idea. I call, write and email every time I hear something I don't like and this is definitely the time for action.

Don't want my taxes to go anywhere except where I live, we can't afford to give to everyone.
