Attention All Gun Owners, Please Report To The Mayor Of Chicago And Turn In Your Weapons
I used to have a bit of a soft spot for Mayor Daley of Chicago. He appeared to be an old school democrat in the mold of a Scoop Jackson. Tough on national security and crime while "progressive" on social issues. But now it looks as if the good Mayor has completely lost his mind like most democrats. Here is his reaction to two young girls who were gunned down recently in Chicago.
Daley also demanded that the state's 1.5 million law-abiding firearm owners travel to Chicago to appear before him and explain why their firearms should not be banned and confiscated.
Not only does the Mayor want to grab all the guns from law abiding citizens in Chicago but now he wants to take all of the states gun owners weapons away. I wonder if he understands that even if all 1.5 million REGISTERED gun owners turned in their weapons that those 2 young victims would still be dead? Instead of blaming the weekend hunters for these homocides why doesn't he clean up his own damn city? Can someone tell me why democrats demand that only criminals have guns?

Mayor Daley has a lot to learn. He's talking to many people who will Never turn in their guns, whether they live in the city of Chicago or the rest of the state. Gone are the days of the mafia (which were so popular for so long) and which ruled the city. The Mayor cannot run the city like the mafia ran it. Plus he has no control over the rest of the state. Gun owners hold your ground and your guns. BLAKE
