Imus died at home tonight surrounded by both me and my mother. He may have only lived 4 years but his presence will be felt for the rest of my life. When I got Imus my life was spiraling out of control but having him to take care of turned me around.
He was the happiest dog I have ever seen and he never wanted for any love.
Goodbye Imus you'll be missed.
For some reason the picture of Imus doesn't show up on my computer. If you click on the tiny square right above the dates of his birth and death a picture of him will pop up.

You have my deepest sympathy on the death of Imus. I know how much you loved him and I will be praying for you to find peace in knowing that he is no longer in pain. You were fortunate to have him and he was fortunate to have you. God bless you.
Sorry to hear about you dog, CJ, but glad to have found you blogging again.
I'll be back. Hopefully, better times are ahead for you soon.
I can still feel his big 'ole head on my neck. I loved Imus and will miss him dearly.
All dogs go to heaven.
I extend my deepest condolences to you on the loss your beloved Imus. Your loving memories will last a lifetime. God Bless. Jane
Sorry about your little buddy, CJ. That's the sad thing about pets - we almost ALWAYS outlive them. It's an unfortunate trade off - for all the joy and companionship they give us in the few short years they're here, we ultimately have to deal with their loss sooner than we'd like. All we can hope for is that we give them the best possible life we can while they're still with us, and take comfort and pride in our efforts when all is said and done if we've achieved that goal.
Sorry to hear about your dog. It's difficult to lose a pet, and those who have been there will sympathize with you and understand. Best Wishes.

So sorry for your loss, CJ. I know he meant a great deal to you, and you've done a lot for him.
We just lost our 19-1/2 year old cat this past week, so I know how you feel.
God bless you in your bereavement, I lost a dog that was almost sixteen years old and will remember the experience forever. Although an elderly dog is not able to maneuver as in earlier years, the passing was extremely painful. Peace to you. Lee
