"Disproportionate"

I googled "disproportionate" (without the parenthesis of course) and this is what came up. Check out how many articles described Israel's actions as disproportionate. This leaves me a bit confused. Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers which, correct me if I'm wrong, is an act of war. So, since Hezbollah declared war on Israel isn't the purpose of war to act as "disproportionate" as one can to win the war? Anytime you hear some talking head blabbing about Israels "disproportionate" use of force you can bet your dollar bottom that that person is an anti-Semite.

In the past I never really cared much about the Middle East conflict. But as I've grown older (and hopefully wiser) I find myself truly astonished at how much of the world hates the Jews. I just don't get it. It seems that to Arabs, democrats, and other assorted anti-Semites all the problems of the world are directly related to Israel. How can 6 million people out of 6 BILLION scare so many people? If anything I'd think they deserve the utmost respect, for God sakes 6 million of them were slaughtered just 60 or so years ago.

Long live Israel!

We are seeing the biblical prophecy being fulfilled on a daily basis now. The bible says we must protect Israel but many non-believers can't comprehend the consequences. They have been persecuted more than any other people but by the grace of God have managed to survive.

I agree with everything Linda said regarding biblical prophecy. Aside from religion, Hezbollah started the war. Everyone knows that kidnapping military personnel from any country is an act of war. Yet the media keeps yapping like dogs barking every time they report on the middle east uprising. All we hear is that Israel is
"disproportionate", "unfair",
"aggressive" "invasive" -- you name it, the media cannot report a fair event of anything that involved Jews. There is so much hatred in the world toward one sector it is unbelievable. Plus the media is now mimicking our government in greater terms than ever before. The media reports on events of government as though we are in a civil war here in America. Damn the foolish few who are so removed from reality.
