More Disgusting Anti-Semitism
Now it's coming from the democrat run Washington Post. Even though it's hard to be surprised anymore this kind of anti-Semitism from a supposed "mainstream media" outlet this did take me aback a bit. You would think this kind of vicious bigotry would have been caught by an editor somewhere down the line.
The greatest mistake Israel could make at the moment is to forget that Israel itself is a mistake. It is an honest mistake, a well-intentioned mistake, a mistake for which no one is culpable, but the idea of creating a nation of European Jews in an area of Arab Muslims (and some Christians) has produced a century of warfare and terrorism of the sort we are seeing now. Israel fights Hezbollah in the north and Hamas in the south, but its most formidable enemy is history itself.
I don't remember the democrats exposing themselves for what they really are during the Reagan years. Maybe I was too young and didn't pay enough attention but it seems the longer they're out of power the more the veil is lifted to their true agenda and feelings. Now I see nothing but racism, bigotry, ant-Semitism, and hatred for anything military from our soldiers in Iraq to recruiters on college campuses.
Howard Dean was just quoted as saying this.
“If you think what's going on in the Middle East today would be going on if the Democrats were in control, it wouldn't, because we would have worked day after day after day to make sure we didn't get where we are today. We would have had the moral authority that Bill Clinton had when he brought together the Northern Irish and the IRA, when he brought together the Israelis and the Palestinians.”
I think Howard might be up to something. If democrats were in power especially the Washington Post's Richard Cohen they would be attacking Isreal alongside the terrorists. Can someone tell me why it is that terrorists and democrats have basically the same agenda? God help us all if democrats regain power in November!

I saw Dean on tv a couple of days ago when he said if the democrats were in office this never would have happened. He referred to the moral ground of Clinton...Do you suppose he thinks everyone has forgotten the "morals" of Clinton? Also, does he remember Bill Clinton had Bin Laden's head offered to him on a platter and refused because he didn't feel there was quite enough evidence?
MSNBC has shown nothing but sympathy for the terrorists, talking about seeing the poor things walking around with blood running down their faces. Well, what about the people of Israel....did they mention the fact that they are being brutalized by these terrorists?
I guess if the leaves fall on their freshly mowed lawn they will blame Bush for it. If it rains and they get wet, it's Bush's fault. They make me sick to my stomach with their warped sense of what is right/wrong. I agree with you when you had stated that God help us all if they ever regain control.
