Democrats Not Sure They Support The Troops

It's not as if I ever thought they did support our fine men and women in the military but it's nice to see a democrat senator admit as much.

Gregory: "But how can the public really buy the Democrats support the troops but don't support the mission? How can you do both?"

Schumer: "Well, that's the difficulty. A resolution that says we're against this escalation, that's easy. The next step will be how do you put further pressure on the administration against the escalation but still supporting the troops who are there? And that's what we're figuring out right now."

Senator (up)Chuck Schumer admits that democrats have yet to figure out how to fool the public and convince them they support the troops.

Can we question their patriotism yet?

"We support the troops" BUT let's withhold money needed for basic items the military needs: food, water, ammunition, health care, etc. How the servicemen must feel when they hear this. Such action denotes that the servicemen are not valuable to the country, nor is the fighting necessary for our country to survive. These young people are giving their life that we may remain free and this is the thanks they get.

Upchuck may figure out eventually that you can fool the public some of the time but not all the time. In this instance he is an idiot to think he can pull this one over on any sane person. How on earth does he get from point A to point B without lying and stumbling. What a nut!!

Well, I don't support them if they support the regime, or have engaged in war crimes.

Besides, why would I, when so many of them report to private contractors, whose allegiance is not to country but to corporation?

They're not fighting for me.

A perfect example of how the left has a vicious hatred not only for the country but for the military as well.

"Corporations" ARE this country. In fact they are the backbone of any democratic society.

"Hash" also shows how intellectually lazy democrats are. How sad and pathetic.

Hashfanatic, I think you are one SICK person. Where is your brain??
Where is your patriotism?? I don't think you should ever refer to yourself as an American. Those young men and women are over there fighting, risking their lives every single day.....all just to protect our lives here at home, even protecting the life of a louse like you.

"Well, I don't support them if they support the regime or have engaged in 'war crimes.'" Dumb ass thinks everyone in the military engages in "war crimes". The military does NOT report to private contractors. How disgraceful that our military is fighting and dying for someone who hates them.

Fortunately, your sad little reign of terror in this country, and against unarmed sovereign nations of the world, is about to come to a close.

Spin it any way you like, but it will be the ashes of your parasitic carcasses that will be scattered in the breeze.

Hash, are you a full-blown terrorist? The threats of our "carcasses blowing in the breeze" does not sound like you are an American at all. What country are you really from?
It's the likes of you that keeps our country on an elevated alert.
You sound dangerous to us all.

What a dreadful shame that someone like hashfanatic enjoys the same benefits as the military personnel when they return from active duty. Some greedy guts just sit on their ass and watch everyone else protect their sorry asses and then they don't have the decency to respect them, and of course, the thought of thanking a vet is far removed from the vocabulary of the ignoramuses of the world.

No, Linda, I am NOT a terrorist.

But I really do wonder about warmongers like you people. I do not understand how you think folks who want peace should just shut up and let you send MORE Americans to be killed, and all for a lie.

Pardon me for actually resenting your bloodlust for Americans AND for foreigners that you've never even met.

Frankly, I think people like you are the real danger to America.
