What's Important To Democrats?
The war on terror? National security? Of course not. It's the fact the word "freshman" is derogatory.
Among the things attendees at this morning's National Journal /NBC post-SOTU breakfast learned was that it is no longer politically correct in the House Dem caucus to refer to the newly elected members from '06 as "Freshmen." How did we learn this? House Maj. Whip Jim Clyburn referred to the "freshmen" and then corrected himself and then went on to admit the new policy. Freshman, er newly elected Rep. Jason Altmire (D-PA) told the crowd that he "suspected" it had something to do with the word "new" being more appealing to the public than "freshman," which can be seen by some as derogatory. So there ya go! a
At least we know where the priorities of the terrorist loving left is.

Freshman, new, senior, what's the difference when it come to reporting the news. If it was a republican he would have been referred to as something less than a politician, something less than human. Why are these people so picky about their democrats...Why can't they go on as normal people do. Guess they know their party is inferior and they have to do something to try to make themselves look a little better.

We have never been more unsafe due to our decimated military and our astronomical debt, run up by the Bush Crime Family after inheriting, stealing, and squandering the people's surplus left to us by Bill Clinton.
There is little if any security...our borders are almost totally open, security checks at airports are manned by neocon-privatized minimum-wage losers who have felony collars and could care less about what gets through, and a tiny, fractional amount of cargo is checked since the Republicans handed over port security to foreigners, including Saudi Arabia, the home of Waahabist Islamics, who fund extremist Muslim terrorism, including al-Qaeda.
So, how have we been safeguarded under right-wing Republican filth?
I'm a real American loving football player, although I'm considered a tough nut,even I can see that the word"freshman" is tossed around by politicians as if they have nothing else on their feeble minds. I was once a freshman in high school and a freshman in college, what's the big deal with the democrats???? they have been there too, the dumb
