WASHINGTON (CNN) -- On the same day that the 110th Democratic-led Congress convenes with a plan to immediately pass lobbyist and ethics reforms, the Congressional Black Caucus Thursday gave a standing ovation to Rep. William Jefferson, the Louisiana Democrat who faces an FBI probe into bribery allegations.
If you're a democrat than there isn't anything you can do wrong that will be held against you. In fact the more egregious the felony the more democrats respect you. They ought to rename the democrat party to the "felony party."

Jefferson deserves a standing ovation as much as all the prisoners who are doing time for murder. If a Republican did what Jefferson did, he would be serving time NOW!
I like the idea of renaming the democrat party the "felony party" because that's exactly what they are. If that had been a republican
he would have been crucified.
