The poorest people don't consider a penny increase in most anything "soaring". But considering the source, it is meant to bring about an uproar.
Wow! A whole penny?....I guess my idea of soaring is much different from theirs...lol.
The person who wrote this could stand at the gas pump and maybe sell her thoughts for a penny. You know the old saying "a penny for your thoughts." Then she could pay the full price just for selling her thoughts.
