Now We Know Why Obama Won't Put His Hand Over His Heart

Obama said in his speech today that Reverend Wright was part of him, like his racist grandmother. That clearly explains that he agrees that America is racist, imperialistic, and all around bad country. Oh, and he must also agree that rich white guys invented aids to destroy all the blacks.....that's what his preacher said.

So everything your Pastor says outside the context of his Biblical teachings you agree with?

My pastor is my own uncle and I LIVED with he and my aunt for a few summer months one year. And I can clearly say that I don't agree with everything he believes outside the context of his religious teachings.

He is my spiritual adviser and when speaking on politics or even music we do not agree, but that does NOT take away from the respect I have for him when he's preaching/teaching the Word of God.

It's such a lame attempt on people's part to have Obama denounce his spiritual adviser. Pastor Wrights views are HIS views not Obama's.

That's like suggesting that if you had a racist father, you having to justify yourself just because you are his child. Doesn't make sense. But he is your father nonetheless and you love him, but you cannot be accountable for his words, and thoughts.

Obama goes to a church that he loves and feels comfortable within the congregation. His pastors words outside of speaking Biblically are not his worry. Nor should they be ours?

This picture says it all, doesn't it? And yes, he obviously does agree with his hateful, bigoted pastor. Can you believe anyone like this could be running for president of our great country. It's an absolute disgrace for him to still be in the race. The countries of this world must be having a great laugh at our America.

The picture says it all?

Wow.

Judging a book by it's cover. Have you seen later shots taken after this picture was snapped?

Obama clearly put his hand over his heart, this picture was snapped at a moment when he had not yet placed his hand over his heart.

And even so.....this picture says it ALL?

Seriously?

My voice says we should always show respect for our country, no matter the circumstances. I attend churh regularly and if I ever hear condemnation of spiritual beliefs I will remove myself from the congregation. Church is a place of prayer and worship of God, not condemnation of the country in nwhich we live. The media does an excellent job reporting the ills of our country--the church does not need to be involved.

Clips of Pastor Wright's sermons sound like a hate speech.
