Guess The Party Part 4

Here is the entire article, it's short so it won't take much time to read.

ADELANTO, Calif. - A former mayor of a California high desert town and his wife have been sentenced to 6 months in jail for the theft of more than $20,000 from Little League coffers.

Jim Nehmens, 50, and Kelly Nehmens, 44, pleaded guilty to grand theft by embezzlement and perjury Thursday.

The eight-year councilman and Adelanto mayor had resigned from his post on March 31, about a week before he and his wife were arrested.

The former mayor was president of the Adelanto Little League, and his wife was a board member during the years the money from the league's annual fireworks sales went missing. The money was taken over three years starting in 2004.

Nehmens attorney Grover Porter did not immediately return a call seeking comment Saturday.

Needless to say they're democrats.

This theft was planned, joining the Little League was an excuse for stealing. Hope the husband and wife get the maximum time for their horrible behavour. Democrats should know better but apparently they didn't. Stealing from adults is one thing, stealing from children is even worse.

This husband and wife are an example of what is wrong in many places across our nation. Greed has become something that is causing people to commot horrific deeds, even against young people. When people read about this I hope they will learn from the mistakes these two have made. Also hope that this couple gets the maximum sentence.

These people are thieves. Nobody would steal from Little League if they had good sense. Hope the judge gives them what they deserve.
100 years.
