Since 82% of Americans claim to be Christians that's the very definition of a "Christian nation." I used to refer to Joe Biden as the dumbest man in the senate but Senator Obama just blew him away with that incredibly stupid statement.

Our nation was founded on Christianity. Eight-two percent Christian vs. eighteen percent "other" should clarify it for anyone.
