Democrats Can't Wait To Lose War

Not that it's much of a surprise but democrats are all excited about forcing the United States to lose the war in Iraq. Give them power and they screw the military.

WASHINGTON - In a blunt challenge to
President Bush, the leader of the Senate's new Democratic majority said Monday he will "look at everything" within his power to wind down the war in
Iraq, short of cutting off funding for troops already deployed.

"I think we've got to tell the president what he's doing as wrong. We've got to start bringing our folks home," said Sen. Harry Reid (news, bio, voting record) of Nevada, in remarks that portend a struggle if, as expected, Bush announces plans later this week for an increase in troop strength of 20,000.

Anyone believe that they won't cut off funding? We all know they're wetting their pants in anticipation at cutting the funds. Why else would he feel the need to even mention that?

We can't fight a war without funds, lots of funds. What's with these ditzes anyway? Time was when we all respected the office of president, not anymore. Everything is an uphill battle with no coopertion in Washington. Maybe, just maybe a few of the jerks called congressmen will see the light but don't hold your breath for it.

The democrats are famous for decreasing funding for our military. They want it to be a failure and then cry about the republicans doing it. Well, they will find out what will happen if they start cutting back. Our poor soldiers will be killed much faster. Do you ever wonder how these people lay down and close their eyes at night? How they can even sleep, knowing full well that they are harming our armed services.
