There was an assassination attempt on Vice President Cheney yesterday. How does your typical democrat feel about this?

There are many more comments from democrats wishing the Vice President dead here.
I couldn't imagine wanting Al Gore or Bill Clinton dead during the 90's. Sure, they were corrupt and incompetent. Sure, they got us in completely useless wars in Kosovo and Bosnia. Sure, they were responsible for al Qaeda's strength because of pulling out of Somalia when 18 military members were killed. I don't remember anyone wishing that Milosevic had assassinated Al Gore. The terrorists and the democrats have the same policy. To destroy America any way possible.

Thank God our Vice President was not killed. God was on his side but the democrats and terrorists were not. The comments I read from that link were very unsettling. Many dems/terrorists would have licked their chops at the thought of his demise. Sickening, isn't it?
Cheney needs to watch his back here at home with all the hatred shown in this article, he is in danger, not just in another country but right here. There is so much hatred by the democrats that its scarry, disgusting and totally uncalled for. And to think we are entering a time of electioneering where hatred is full-blown, everyone needs to look twice before even speaking.

While I can appreciate the fact that your blog highlights the worst the left has to offer for rhetorical effect, I'm disappointed you can't give the moderate liberal majority the benefit of the doubt here. You're familiar with my politics at this point - do I strike you as a terrorist?
Cheney is always a smirking little man but I would not want to kill him.
I don't like the smirk that Cheney wears all the time but would not kill him because of it.
