Reparations For Who?
We all know democrats are insane and mentally disturbed but even this is bizarre. The democrats want to pay reparations to the people of Guam for what the JAPANESE did. Um......shouldn't Japan pay that money??? Why would they use our tax dollars for this? By the way, don't democrats think that the 3,000 dead American soldiers was enough "reparations" to free the people of Guam from Japanese imperialism?

I read HR1595.IH (Introduced in the House of Representatives) and HR1595.RH (Reported in the House of Representatives). Elected officials are paid to represent the United States, the people who voted them into office. We have enough important and urgent needs to be attended to without looking outside the realm to needless use of taxpayer dollars. Decades after the fact, if the House feels it necessary to do something, they should ask Japan to reimburse the Guam citizens for the damage done by Japan. It is not our obligation to remit any monetary amount to Guam.
The democrats want to pay reparation for something we don't owe, but yet they DON'T want to fund our military to ensure their safety. Just another instance of their good old patriotism. They need to get their priorities in order.
This is plain old fashioned bull sh*t. The do-gooders are at it again. Where were these people when Katrina came ashore? Did they pass any sort of bill stating that we should help the people of the U.S. re-build their homes? We have lots of people still homeless from that catastrophe. Where are their priorities? Up their you-know-what, that's where.
There's one thing for which we have to give the democrats credit..
they are consistent in their distorted ideas and loyal to their unpatriotic ways.
Next thing you know they will want us to pay reparation to every country in the world with whom we have had any contact. The democrats are really a strange group of people.
We don't owe Guam anything. OK with me if Japan gives them something, won't come out of my taxpayers dollars.
Japan can pay their own debts.
