BBC Helps Terrorists

The BBC is England's version of the New York Times. It really shouldn't shock anyone that liberals are helping terrorists every chance they get.

A BBC producer failed to give police information that would have helped track down the July 21 bombers, the trial was told.

Don't Panic, I'm Islamic, which featured the group paintballing and an interview with Mohammed Hamid, was shown on BBC2 on June 12, 2005.

Nasreen Suleaman, the producer, told the court that Hamid said he would use his £300 fee to settle the fine he had been given by magistrates for racially abusing two policemen at his Oxford Street stall.

Called as a defence witness, Miss Suleaman admitted that she had spoken to Hamid in the days following the July 21 attacks and found out he knew the wanted men.

She said she thought he was scared the fugitives might try to call him but did not contact the police because she felt under "no obligation" to do so.

President Bush's Favorability Is Higher Than The New York Times

We all know the Times is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the radical left. Now the rest of the country is catching on.

Just 24% of American voters have a favorable opinion of the New York Times. Forty-four percent (44%) have an unfavorable opinion and 31% are not sure.

You can see by the breakdown that only liberals have a favorable view of the Times while both Conservatives and independents see them as nothing more than the media wing for the democrat party.

By a 50% to 18% margin, liberal voters have a favorable opinion of the paper. By a 69% to 9%, conservative voters offer an unfavorable view. The newspaper earns favorable reviews from 44% of Democrats, 9% of Republicans, and 17% of those not affiliated with either major political story.

Democrats Showing Open Support For Terrorists

You know how they have yellow ribbons that show support for our troops and the pink ribbons that show support for the eradication of breast cancer? Well, now democrats in Hollywood have an orange ribbon showing their support for Osama bin Laden and all other members of al Qaeda. The purpose for the color orange? It's the color of the jump suits that al Qaeda wears at Gitmo. We all know democrats hate democracy and the United States but it amazes me how homophobic and sexist they are. Democrats fully support the stoning of homosexuals and the slaughter of women who have been raped.

It's Official, Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder

Not that we didn't already know this but now it's official. This even comes from a well respected psychiatrist who isn't affiliated with any political party.

"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness." "Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."

While political activists on the other side of the spectrum have made similar observations, Rossiter boasts professional credentials and a life virtually free of activism and links to "the vast right-wing conspiracy."

For more than 35 years he has diagnosed and treated more than 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago.

Rossiter says the kind of liberalism being displayed by the two major candidates for the Democratic Party presidential nomination can only be understood as a psychological disorder.

The Coming Ice Age

Now that global warming has been completely debunked it actually looks as if the world is cooling. I wonder how long it will take for the global warming nuts to revert back to the 1970's meme.

Snow cover over North America and much of Siberia, Mongolia and China is greater than at any time since 1966.

The U.S. National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) reported that many American cities and towns suffered record cold temperatures in January and early February. According to the NCDC, the average temperature in January "was -0.3 F cooler than the 1901-2000 (20th century) average."

China is surviving its most brutal winter in a century. Temperatures in the normally balmy south were so low for so long that some middle-sized cities went days and even weeks without electricity because once power lines had toppled it was too cold or too icy to repair them.

Global Tax?

Barack Obama wants to institute a global tax to alleviate poverty in other countries. He also wants the United Nations to decide how much you and I pay for 3rd world countries, most of which hate us anyway.

A nice-sounding bill called the "Global Poverty Act," sponsored by Democratic presidential candidate and Senator Barack Obama, is up for a Senate vote on Thursday and could result in the imposition of a global tax on the United States. The bill, which has the support of many liberal religious groups, makes levels of U.S. foreign aid spending subservient to the dictates of the United Nations.

I wouldn't want this far left wing fanatical nut job running for dog catcher.

Sums Up How Democrats Feel About America

The pre Daytona rally ended up the best day that Tumbleweeds has ever had since it's opening in January 1998. I beat my best day by over $1,300, but more impressive was the amount of customers, yesterday we had 896 customers come through the doors. That beats my old record by 397. For those who have never seen my place here are a few pictures.

Now That's A Party!

And that picture doesn't do the party justice. We had a total of 753 Motorcycles pass through throughout the day. My doorman Chuck wanted to set up a "pre Daytona motorcycle rally" to be scheduled for February 23. For those who don't know what that means, well, next week thousands and thousands of bikers head off to Daytona beach for a bike rally. Chuck thought it would be nice to have a party before the party. I thought, a party in February? Outside? It's warmer here than it is in Chicago but still, the average high is under 60. At 10:00 am it started, we had a dozen or so vendors who began setting up at 7 am. Unfortunately it was wet and foggy, not raining but really dreary. By 11:30 we didn't have more than 10 people so I went home. At around 2pm the sun came out and the temperature "soared" to the mid 60's so I decided to go back up. By the time I arrived the parking lot was full of Bikes and pick-ups so I drove around back where there were another 30 or so vehicles. It's the first time ever that we've needed the back to be used for parking.

By 10:30pm I had already gone to the store 4 times for a total of 50 cases of various beers because we had run out of all inventory. Needless to say I was exhausted so I came home and basically passed out by 11pm. When I left we had broken the record for sales by over $300 and customers by over 200. The old record for customers was 499 on my 1 year anniversary last year. We were at 742 when I left, and we were still open for 3 more hours.

I can't take all the credit for this one but I did tell Chuck to go ahead and run with the idea. I wasn't sure if we'd have 10 people or 1000 cause we've never done anything like this before (although every Wednesday night is "Bike night" in the summer so Bikers are used to coming to my place) and what a success it turned out to be!

28 Years Ago

The U.S. beat Russia in the biggest upset in sports history. So many good things about that game (and the gold medal win two days later against Finland)come to mind. From watching the games with my father to personally knowing two fellow high school teammates who were invited to try out for the Olympic team. (neither made it but if memory serves me right Mike Nitti made it to either the final cut or the one before that) Russia always fielded the best players, all were in their mid 20's to early 30's, all but one of our players were 20 or younger. It would be the equivalent of 20 Curt Massie's (that's me you morons) against Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Mike Bossey, Dennis Savard, Brett Hull, etc.... and me winning. And that's not an exaggeration. I was only 14 at the time and it still brings a tear to my eye.

I know I haven't posted much but I've been extremely busy with work. And now I'm having surgery tomorrow so I'll be out even a little longer.

Norther Illinois University has a special place in my heart. Even though I went to Illinois State University I had many friends from high school who went to Northern. I visited the campus many times and even briefly dated a girl who lived in Lincoln Hall. So, the killing of those students shocked me, what didn't shock me was that the killer Steve Kazmierczak was a stark raving mad democrat lunatic.

Beginning graduate work at Northern Illinois University. In addition to his interests in corrections, political violence, and peace and social justice.

Of course the media won't tell you anything about this. The left is authoritarian and violent by nature, look at their heroes, Castro and Chavez, both genocidal dictators. Expect more leftists to go on killing sprees but don't look to the media to expose them.

How Democrats In Berkeley "Support The Troops"

Members of the Berkeley City Council showed their opposition to a Marine Corps recruiting office in Downtown Berkeley last night.

Council members supported the two resolutions-one supporting anti-war protests and the other criticizing military recruitment practices-citing opposition to the war in Iraq, deceptive recruitment practices and the right to protest.

"By taking a stand against recruitment we are protecting the health and safety of our youth," said PhoeBe sorgen, a member of the Berkeley Peace and Justice Commission. "I see the protest as taking a proud and courageous stand."

Code Pink, a national anti-war grassroots organization, will be granted a parking spot for their regular Wednesday afternoon protests and will not need to apply for a sound permit for the next six months, under one resolution.

The other resolution more directly criticizes the presence of the center in Berkeley. The city manager was directed to send a letter to the U.S. Marine Corps saying they are "uninvited and unwelcome intruders" in the city.

The Marines are "uninvited and unwelcome INTRUDERS?" The vicious hatred that democrats have for our young men and women in uniform is stunning!

Can we question their patriotism yet?

How The Liberal City Of Oakland Supports The Troops

A few months back there was a controversy about 200 Marines being forced to stay on the tarmac and not being allowed in the terminal at the airport. The explanation given by the democrats in charge is outrageous and offensive to any patriotic person.

The Oakland International Airport did not break any laws or regulations when it denied 200 Marines and soldiers access to the passenger terminal during a layover last year from Iraq to the troops' home base in Hawaii, the Transportation Department says.

Calvin L. Scovell III, the department's inspector general, blamed the mix-up on security concerns and a communication failure between the Defense Department and the Homeland Security Department.

The contract to allow military layovers at the California airport "did not require that military personnel have access to the airport terminal; it only required that military personnel be allowed to deplane and stretch their legs on stops lasting over one hour," said a report released yesterday to House lawmakers who requested an investigation into the matter.

The Sept. 27 layover was the last stop for fuel and food, but the troops, who were returning from a tour in Iraq, were denied access to food and bathroom facilities.

Airport officials were concerned that the flight's ground staff could not provide "an adequate level of escort and control of such a large group of military personnel in or around the terminal area," the inspector's report said.

Huh? Since when did our military need an "escort" and "control?" I think our fine Marines would have been just fine making their way through the terminal to find a bathroom and a little food. Can you believe these democrats wouldn't even let our Marines use a bathroom?
