I couldn't imagine wanting Al Gore or Bill Clinton dead during the 90's. Sure, they were corrupt and incompetent. Sure, they got us in completely useless wars in Kosovo and Bosnia. Sure, they were responsible for al Qaeda's strength because of pulling out of Somalia when 18 military members were killed. I don't remember anyone wishing that Milosevic had assassinated Al Gore. There's just something about a man and his dog.

The 27-year-old rural Cataract man said the 8-year-old mixed-breed hound jumped between him and an attacking black bear Thursday night, saving his life but giving up his own. The animal sustained at least 28 puncture wounds to his chest and neck, he said.

The story brought a tear to my eye. I thought about my dog Imus who died last summer, I'd even put the odds at 50/50 that he would have killed the bear......at 135 pounds he was as big as a bear.
On the other hand I think my new dog Raven would have saved my life but in a completely different way. She would have gotten between me and the bear just in the remote possibility that the bear would pet her.

When Democrats Attack

I wish democrats could muster up just 10% of the hatred they have for Republicans and use that against the terrorists. But of course it's easier to enter some house of a total stranger and assault them for being a Republican than it is to fight against someone who will separate your head from your shoulders with a dull knife.

A resident reported that a male subject came to his door and started to argue with him about his political beliefs. Neither the resident nor his roommates had ever met or had any contact with the subject previously; however the subject had apparently found the resident’s name on a Republican website. The subject was repeatedly asked to leave and refused to do so. All three roommates were struck multiple times by the subject when they attempted to escort him out the door. The subject continued to be aggressive and disorderly even after the officer arrived on the scene. Andrew Stone, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested and charged with three counts of assault and battery. The magistrate released Stone on his own recognizance and he was additionally ordered to have no further contact with the victims.

This nutcase actually went to a total strangers house. I suppose he's lucky he didn't get shot. This folks is just your typical democrat.

5. The civil sector is sacrificed to fund an ever increasing military establishment. WE CAN'T LET OUR SOLDIERS DOWN!

6. Criticism of the military becomes taboo. One bad joke at the expense of US soldiers ended Kerry's presidential hopes. INSULTING THE HONOR OF OUR SOLDIERS IS FORBIDDEN!

America has come to a strange and paradoxical place in history, where a cult of the soldier designed to serve past political goals has now taken on a powerful life of its own and is dragging the entire nation toward ruinous military adventures and unsustainable expenditures. Soldiers, whose standing armies were viewed with suspicion by America's founders, have become the focus of a powerful cult of glorification in America. Almost imperceptibly, our soldiers have become our masters, and we will all suffer for it.

Notice how what we understand as a given ie. giving our soldiers the funds and equipment they need this democrat sees a problem with it? I'd also like to see some proof from this rabid military hater of our founding fathers "suspicion" of standing armies.

Let's see......how about, did we win the battle? How many of the enemy died? How about instead of being obsessed (as the terrorists are) by the body count of American soldiers doing some real reporting and find out how many of the enemy have been killed since the beginning of the war?

Is he so incredibly stupid that he thinks that somehow this would work? The government is already TAKING 2.9 TRILLION dollars from the taxpayers. I'd have to say that's quite enough!

More On The Terroist That Democrats Had Give The Invocation At Their Winter Meeting

It's even much worse than I thought. Here's a little information you won't find in the mainstream media or from other democrats.

THE Democratic National Committee made a strange choice to deliver the invocation last Friday at its winter meeting: Husham al-Husainy - an extremist who has a long record of support for prominent Islamists at war with America and Israel.

Al-Husainy’s words before the Democrats - asking God to “help us stop . . . occupation and oppression” - were jarring enough, since he was likely referring to either American soldiers in Iraq or Jews in Israel.

But his past statements and activity make those words even more ominous.

Al-Husainy heads the Karbalaa Islamic Education Center mosque in Dearborn, Mich., one of the largest Shiite mosques in North America. He is an open admirer of the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini - under whose rule Americans were held hostage for 444 days.

During last summer’s Israel-Hezbollah war, al-Husainy led rallies in Dearborn in support of the Lebanese terrorist group. Protesters displayed swastikas as well as anti-American and anti-Semitic posters.

I attended one rally, at Dearborn’s Bint Jebail Cultural Center - named for the stronghold in south Lebanon from which Hezbollah rockets rained on Israel. Al-Husainy was among several who delivered hate-filled, anti-American rhetoric. He cheered as others called for the hastened destruction of the Jews.

Then there are his anti-Semitic, anti-American conspiracy theories. In one interview, he said: “Saddam . . . handed Iraq to the Coalition. I believe he is an agent of America . . . And, by the way, I don’t want to exclude the Zionists. I think some extremists from the Mossad came in and took a chance to have some revenge, because we don’t know who killed [Imam Mohammed Bakr] al-Hakim or Sergio Vieira de Mello, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights.”

Is there any question democrats and the media are working hand in hand with the terrorists?
