2 kids were kicked off a bus for speaking ENGLISH. In Minnesota no less.

Imagine sending your kids off to school, but when they get to the bus they are told they can't get on because they speak English.

It happened to a few children in St. Paul and now the school district is apologizing.

Rachel Armstrong sent her kids to pick up the bus as usual Monday, but after the driver let the kids on, he told them he would not pick them up again. He even said he wouldn't take them home that afternoon.

Armstrong left work early Tuesday, forced to pick up her kids from Phalen Lake Elementary School.

Her twin girls, 10, and her son, 8, were kicked off their regular school bus. They were told by the bus driver the route is for non-English speaking students only.

I believe we're at a crossroads here, in more ways than one. It's time to take our country back!

Proud to be an American is into mythology, too, and likes to imagine that America is more than a patch of ground and it's more than an accident to have been born on it.

Proud to be an American is too busy making money and buying stuff to really notice the vast machine above its head or think very hard about how that machine affects other citizens of the world and even lots of other citizens of America. Proud to be an American looks at someone who manages to rise to the top of the machine and assumes that person has admirable qualities and good intentions.

Proud to be an American is emotional and irrational. It fails to see things as they really are and is far too slow to recognize crimes and criminals. It's beyond time to stop thinking that way.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- On the same day that the 110th Democratic-led Congress convenes with a plan to immediately pass lobbyist and ethics reforms, the Congressional Black Caucus Thursday gave a standing ovation to Rep. William Jefferson, the Louisiana Democrat who faces an FBI probe into bribery allegations.

If you're a democrat than there isn't anything you can do wrong that will be held against you. In fact the more egregious the felony the more democrats respect you. They ought to rename the democrat party to the "felony party."

Ethnic Cleansing In America?

According to democrats that's what Bush did by sending Hurricane Katrina to New Orleans. I kid you not, democrat congressman Barney Frank said exactly that.

Media Shows Which Side They're On

Searching the internet you can find a couple of different videos of Saddam's hanging. The second, which I have not viewed is more graphic than the first. Let's see what the New York Times has to say about the subject:

Confronted with a second, unofficial and more graphic video account of the moments leading up to the execution of Saddam Hussein, and the hanging itself, executives at television news organizations made a series of what one executive, President Steve Capus of NBC News, called “delicate editorial decisions” about what they would put on the air on Saturday night and Sunday to augment the first pictures of the execution.

Wow, the reason that the media is not showing the video is because of "delicate editorial decisions" and "niceties." Seems the American media doesn't want to show the genocidal dictators death at all and especially the more "graphic" video. Seems rather odd since the media had no problem showing the video of an American soldier being killed by a terrorist. I never knew there were so many people in this country like Jim Henley who enjoy watching our young men and women in uniform get slaughtered while at the same time shedding tears for a genocidal madman.

Happy New Year

I want to wish everyone a happy new year. I hope everyone is able to keep their resolutions.

On a sad note my Uncle David is in the hospital and is not expected to make it through the night. My prayers are with him, my Aunt Linda, my Aunt Phoebe and most of all my mother who is losing her baby brother. They are at his side as I type this. I was lucky enough to have seen him twice in the last 2 weeks. May God take his soul to the promised land and to help my family get through this trying time.

UPDATE: My uncle passed at 12:40 this morning. You're with God now David, may you find peace in His arms.
